In March 2022 one of the highlights of our trip to Assam, was meeting our tea maker and friend Rana who is a small tea manufacturer using organic practices. Extremely down to earth and humble, Rana is an exceptional tea maker and we are so excited to be the first ones to promote his artisanal teas. The green tea he produces is excellent, with sweet floral and vegetal notes, and probably the best we have had from Assam.
Tulsi (holy basil) is well known as a herb for all ailments. It is antibacterial and a potent adaptogen as it reduces metabolic and psychological stress. Green tea is a great antioxidant, prebiotic and promotes good digestion.

Meet
Hunted for its horn, the one horned rhinos were almost extinct, with less than 200 left by the end of the 19th century. Conservation efforts have revived their population and brought their worldwide numbers to around 3,000 now — the bulk of them in Kaziranga, Assam.
