This is definitely a lovely experimental, artisanal piece created by our friend and tea maker Rana Gogoi who uses organic practices in his small tea farm in Sivasagar, Assam. Have patience with the first steep and let the tea leaves unfurl, once they do you are in for a joyful experience of wellness. Don’t forget to re-steep for multiple infusions and get a multitude of health benefits from the turmeric green tea pearls. This is a perfect tea to carry you when you travel, as the leaves are woven together, you do not need a strainer and can drink it Grandpa style if desired.

The green tea is absolutely lovely and refreshing, paired with the turmeric, it is just what you need as part of your wellness ritual. Turmeric is a superfood with fantastic anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and adaptogenic properties, while green tea is well known for being anti-oxidant with multitude of health benefits including being a prebiotic and promoting good digestion.

Chaiwala Rhino

Hunted for its horn, the one horned rhinos were almost extinct, with less than 200 left by the end of the 19th century. Conservation efforts have revived their population and brought their worldwide numbers to around 3,000 now — the bulk of them in Kaziranga, Assam.
