Chaiwala Tiger Tips

  • If you’re using dairy, whole milk works best.
  • Oat milk is the best milk substitute for coffee chai. If you’re using plant based milk, the exact ratio of water to plant based milk will depend on its consistency and thickness.
  • If you want your chai sweet, sugar tastes better than honey. Add it when you’re preparing your chai on the stovetop.
  • If you want iced coffee chai, prepare it as a concentrate over a stovetop, then strain and stick it in the refrigerator for a few hours. When chilled, serve with milk over ice.

The blue chai tea is wonderful

I was so hesitant to order and I finally gave in. My favorite warm beverage is Chai tea and my favorite cold beverage is butterfly pea tea. This combination is truly wonderful. I'm so glad I tried it. And the tins are so pretty as well!

I love the teas

I have not found one tea I dislike. The tea is so fresh. All the different types of Chai I am in love with. I do like the one with coffee in it. I am a coffee drinker in the mornings. Sometimes though I need a little pick me up and these works great for that. I love them so much I joined the Chai Club. We got our first order yesterday. We tried one the ones that was sent and would say it is great. We will try the other one today. Can't wait try the new one. I have made me a whole corner just for my teas. I can't pick which is my favorite because the are all great!

FOLLOW THE BREWING INSTRUCTIONS!

When I first got this blend, I was excited to try it, so I brewed it in a way that was convenient for me—the tea blend and water without any milk. I followed the recommended tea-to-water ratio and brewed for the suggested time, then I added that to the milk. When I did this, I found the coffee and tea had clashed and canceled each other out, so I was left with a spiced milk that was neither tea nor coffee-flavored. It was suggested to me to try it following the brewing instructions printed on the label, and what a difference it made! The milk had absorbed the flavor of both the coffee and the Assam tea, and it made the spices shine even more. If you're wondering if you should get this, do it! You won't regret it! Just don't be like me, all excited to try it—brew it the proper way.

Absolutely Amazing!

I really enjoyed this one! I prepared it exactly as directed on the package. The aroma alone was so inviting it even brought my son into the kitchen wanting to try it!
It’s absolutely delicious: very smooth, no bitterness at all, and such a cozy, comforting cup.
