The Refresh herbal blend is an invigorating blend. The cooling combination of green tea, herbs like licorice, and peppermint, along with spices like cinnamon, have long been a part of ancient Ayurveda (a healing system based on the idea that good health depends on the balance between mind, body, and spirit).
In Ayurveda, everyone is composed of five elements - space (also known as ether), air, fire, water, and earth. These elements combine in the body to form three energies or doshas- Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
Vata controls movement, Pitta controls metabolism, and Kapha controls structure.
Pitta is the energy associated with the body’s metabolism and is a combination of fire and water. In balance, Pitta promotes intelligence, focus and determination. Out of balance, it can cause heartburn, anger, and irritation. This Pitta Dosha Tea is just what you need to refresh yourself and reboot!
