To be honest, I wasn't sure I'd like Blue Chai. But I do, very much, and the color is a bonus.
I love this Blue Chai tea. It’s now my favorite tea. But when you open the foil bag and pour the tea bags into the tin, it’s less than half full. You realize how little tea you are getting for the price. To compensate, I’ll get two pours out of each tea bag. I know you pay for quality ingredients, but this is prohibitive for me.
I have only just discovered H&K Teas. Am so glad that I did! The teas are exceptional. High Quality, Lovely taste. Service and shipping are seamless and fast.

Blue Chai has become my favorite tea. I love the blue color and that it’s caffeine free. I find it delicious even without sweetener. When you dump the tea bags into the tin can from their foil pouch, it’s less than half full! This is a visual statement about how expensive this tea is. So I get two brews out of each bag to make this more cost effective. I do appreciate the careful sourcing of ingredients and the compostable tea bags. Ultimately, you pay for quality. I will keep buying.
The Masala Chai has a great flavor and is creamy when a little oatmilk is added! Definitely ordering again!

The Chai Club does not disappoint. The novel and tasty chai flavors are fun to try, along with the extra bonus treat, such as strawberry jam made with H&K's own tea. The richness of the chai teas, along with the back story and attractive photography of the products, make the H&K club packages a delight that I look forward to receiving. Thanks to the rose chai and the chocolate bar (in the first package), I specifically enjoy my dark chocolate bars with hot chai tea to melt the chocolate and enhance the flavors. Cheers.

Calming Golden completely surprised me in the best way. I was hesitant because turmeric can sometimes be overpowering, but this blend is incredibly smooth, creamy, and comforting. The cinnamon adds a cozy warmth while the turmeric and ashwagandha create a relaxing, grounding cup without tasting too earthy. Brewed on the stove with milk and a little sweetener, it made the perfect calming evening drink.
Bright citrusy lemongrass meets gentle warming ginger for a clean, refreshing, and calming cup. Simple, soothing, and perfectly balanced. These two flavors balance each other beautifully.
Brewed traditional chai style, this cup is rich, creamy, and wonderfully comforting. The bold Assam tea and warming spices are beautifully balanced by the delicate floral sweetness of saffron, giving it a smooth, luxurious finish.

I brewed this on the stove with 1 cup water and ½ cup milk using the traditional chai method. It hit all the beautiful spice notes—ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, and a gentle warmth from clove and black pepper. The butterfly pea flower makes the most stunning blue cup, and the flavor is smooth, cozy, and absolutely delicious.
This Chai is a very pretty deep blue color, then swirl in milk and it’s a nice display. It’s also very yummy however, it lowered my blood pressure causing me to feel dizzy, lightheaded, and weak after drinking only 1/4 of a regular cup ( 1 tea bag). I took my bp and it was 97/62. My bp did not go back to my normal (117/80) for 3 hours. I have never consumed butterfly blue pea flower before and didn’t know it would do this but it did.
Would be an excellent drink for someone with high bp.
Overall, it’s a lovely drink, just not for me.

I am a huge fan of tea from the Darjeeling region. I came across the herbs & kettles website and stumbled upon the Darjeeling Rare Frosted Oolong Tea, so I decided to give it a try. And what a delightful addition it is to my tea cabinet. This tea is smooth, with almost a malted honey taste. It will definitely be one of my regular tea choices from now on. Highly recommended.
The tea taste good. I love the blue color. I mix it with milk and a little honey or sugar. It tastes great.
