At Herbs and Kettles, we are innovative and love experimenting. We wanted to create a chai blend that was caffeine-free and also absolutely delicious. After months of planning and testing multiple recipes, we crafted our Blue Chai tea. Made with single origin butterfly blue pea flower tea and aromatic chai spices, this caffeine-free chai is truly amazing. Enjoy it hot or as an iced chai latte.
Our unique Blue Chai comes in convenient tea bags and differs significantly from other decaffeinated chai blends. Typical decaffeination methods use solvents that strip away beneficial polyphenols along with the caffeine. Our Blue Chai avoids this entirely by naturally being caffeine free, preserving all the benefits.
To prepare, steep the Blue Chai tea bag in near boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes and enjoy as it is or add a splash of steamed milk, dairy or otherwise, along with a little sugar.

Blue Chai
I tried it, loved it and had to buy it for my friends….
I’m an Earl Grey aficionado, so it takes a LOT to compete with my favorite brew, but this tea takes a turn with the best Earls. I love how this blue chai looks like the deep turquoise of Lake Louise. And it tastes heavenly, especially with evaporated milk and maple syrup. This is my daily indulgence and it brings me a lot of comfort and joy. Highly recommended.
